World PPG

Jeff Goin is pretty much the Godfather of powered paragliding in North America.   As one of the original hosts of “The Powered Paragliding Show” for more than seven years and co-founder of our sport’s biggest discussion group, ppgbiglist in Yahoo Groups, Jeff has been deeply involved for a long time.  He literally “wrote the book” when he created the “Powered Paragliding Bible” which is a comprehensive description of just about everything there is to know about PPG – really!  Just for good measure, Jeff received the “Above and Beyond Award” Award from the Florida Powered Paragators.

Jeff owns five paramotors, a weight-shift hang-glider trike, a Beachcraft Bobanza and a Enstrom F28  helecopter.  He earns his living by ”slaving over hot throttles” as a 737 captain for Southwest Airlines.  He calls the 737 “The Big Trike“.
