More business growth in 2011 with the launch of United States Powered Paragliding which sells quality paramotors, quads and certified wings at discounted prices.
In 2009 Michael founded Baja Powered Paragliding located in Northern Baja California, about 45 minutes from San Diego. Baja PPG is a B and B style mini-resort that offers a “Gourmet PPG” kind of experience for powered paragliding students and pilots.
Michael was the original creator of “The Powered Paragliding Show” in 2001 and was also one of the original founders of the ppgbiglist on Yahoo Groups. As a regular contributor to Paraglider Magazine, he specialized in writing paramotor reviews for that publication. Michael was also co-host of UltraFlight Radio for four years with Roy Beisswenger.
Michael has been flying powered paragliders since 2001. He is a USPPA certified foot-launch, tandem foot launch and wheel launch instructor.
